What made you apply for a Chevening Award?

Before applying to Chevening, I was working as an Assistant Project Manager at the Export Development Bank of Egypt. It was my goal to study or work abroad in order to broaden my international exposure in the finance area but I didn’t know how to access this opportunity.

I was reading Al Ahram newspaper when I saw an advertisement for Chevening Scholarships and the opportunity to earn a Master’s degree from a UK university, in a one year timeframe. This suited my plans exactly and seemed like a perfect fit.
